What is the difference between stacked and loose wood?

Stacked wood has fewer gaps between the logs, so the same amount of wood has a smaller spatial volume than loose wood.

What is meant by stacked cubic meter and loose cubic meter?

These are volume units for firewood according to the stacking method. Stacked cubic meter and loose cubic meter differ in the amount of air gaps between the logs.

Is the calculator result accurate?

The volume of firewood includes air gaps: a solid cubic metre is the actual wood mass, stacked wood contains some air between the logs, and loose firewood contains the most air. Different countries use their own standards and conversion factors — for example, 1m³ of solid wood ≈ 1.4m³ stacked ≈ 2m³ loose.
